Our Leadership Team

The church leadership is made up of a team of pastors and elders.

Malcolm Hathaway

Malcolm has pastored several Elim churches and also taught at Elim’s National Training Centre for many years. He is married to Lorna and they have a son, Clive and daughter, Clare. Malcolm has been Senior Minister of the church since December 2005.

Richard Vernon

Richard is the Associate Minister and is married to Georgina and they have been at the church since June 2003. They have three beautiful little children who one day, Richard hopes will all become professional golfers! He is passionate about the local church and in seeing it find its true place at the heart of the community. He is a self-confessed gadget freak and when he gets the time, loves nothing more than a great round of golf.

Robin Essex

Robin is married to Rana and they have been with us since June 2007 following 10 years on the mission field in Albania and Kosovo. They have two gorgeous little girls. Robin is pastor to the International Community and heads up our School of English and our newly developed Advocacy Centre.

Paul McMichael

Paul joined us  in September of 2010 as our new Youth and Childrens Pastor. He hails from Glasgow and was previously the Youth and Childrens Pastor at the Elim church in Stafford. He’s a keen sportsman and loves nothing more than swapping cars.

Hosea Gana and Stephen Kenyon

Hosea and Stephen are the church elders.
