Strong Men’s Ministry

The late Dr Ed Cole once said that ‘You are male by birth, but a man by choice.’ And here at LEC, our desire is that we develop a network of men who become ‘strong’ across all areas of their lives, particularly when it relates to their spirituality. Our ongoing desire is that as men, we seek to develop stronger relationships with one another and encourage each other to grow closer to God and understand more of the plans and purposes that He has for our lives. We try to meet together every other month for a full English cooked breakfast, followed by a time of worship and ministry, as well as arranging other social events.

NEXT MEN’S EVENT: Curry night at Lakeside on Saturday 2nd July 2011. We’ll be meeting in the Oasis Coffee House from 7pm where we’ll be ordering our meals for delivery. Whilst we’re waiting for them to arrive, we want to discuss together how we can look to take the Men’s Ministry forward, so come with some great ideas and suggestions.
